Wedge wire screen
Wedge wire screen is a welded steel structure, mainly used for filtration, separation and retention media.
Construction
Wedge wire screen is made by winding cold-rolled wire. It consists of surface profiles and support rods. The surface profiles are usually V-shaped, that are resistance welded onto support rods. The distance between the surface profiles is controlled very accurately,as it forms the slot through which the filtrate flows.
Filtration Direction
The direction of the flow is determined by the position of the surface profiles in relation to the support profiles. Wedge wire screens are either from out to in (FOTI) or from in to out (FITO).
List some size of screen pipe:
Outside diameter in mm | Number of support rods | Outside diameter in mm | Number of support rods |

Note: The Min. slot width is 0.15 mm, error range:±0.03mm.
The designation of a screen pipe describes its construction as follows:
Outside diameter x slot x Length: material.
Example:Φ114mm x 0.25±0.03mm x 3m:SUS304.
The Max. Length of screne pipe is 6000mm.
